Usage recommendations
The mesh is embedded in the first layer of adhesive or filler compound applied over polystyrene or plaster. Lay the mesh with an overlap of about 10 cm at the joints and press it with the trowel from the centre towards the edges until it is fully covered. The second layer of compound is applied after the first has set.
Installation & usage tips
- Embed the mesh in the first coat of filler, then cover it with the second.
- Overlap the strips by ~10 cm for continuity.
- Choose the weight: ~145–160 g/m² for facades (ETICS), lighter for interiors.
- The mesh prevents cracks and reinforces the filler/plaster layer.
