Usage recommendations
XPS boards are glued with a special adhesive onto a clean and level substrate, with staggered joints; on facades they are additionally anchored with wall plugs. Thanks to its low water absorption, it is ideal for plinths, foundations and floors. Protect from prolonged sun exposure (UV) until finishing.
Installation & usage tips
- Glue the boards to a clean, primed base, then fix with umbrella-type plugs.
- Lay the boards staggered, butted tight, with no gaps.
- Extruded polystyrene (XPS) suits plinths and damp areas.
- Reinforce with mesh + filler before the finish.
General guidance; always follow the manufacturer instructions on the packaging.
