Mounting recommendations
The UD profile is fixed around the perimeter (floor, ceiling, walls) with wall plugs at 40–50 cm, preferably on a sealing tape for sound insulation. The vertical studs are inserted inside it. Ensure horizontal and vertical alignment before fixing the boards.
Installation & usage tips
- Fix guide profiles (UW/UD) along the perimeter with wall plugs every 40–50 cm.
- Keep stud spacing at 60 cm (or 40 cm for double boarding or higher loads).
- Cut profiles with tin snips, not an angle grinder — to avoid burning the zinc layer.
- For ceilings, suspend CD profiles on rods with an adjustable bracket, max. 90 cm spacing.
- Use a UA profile to reinforce door and window openings.
