Plasterboard sheets are panels with a gypsum core wrapped in cardboard, used for partition walls, linings and ceilings. There are several types: standard (A, usually grey) for dry rooms, moisture-resistant (H2/GKI, typically green) for bathrooms and kitchens, and fire-resistant (F/GKF, red) for areas with fire-protection requirements. The usual thickness is 12.5 mm for walls and 9.5 mm for ceilings. The boards are mounted on a frame of metal profiles and fixed with screws; joints are treated with tape and filler. Choose the thickness and type according to the room.
